Is Your Child A Victim Of Cyber Bullying? Protect Them With Spy Software

As parents, we all worry that our child might be the victim of cyberbullying. Unless you've been living under a rock, you know all about the number of suicides that have resulted from children being bullied online.  It's a scary time we live in when we must protect our children from other children. It's a very real issue and something you should actively seek to stop as a mother or father.  In order to use cell phone spy apps for this purpose, you will need to have access to your child's device. You cannot spy on a cell phone without having the phone in hand. Once you have your software decided upon and installed on your device, you may be wondering, “What now”?

The benefit of a spy cell phone app is simple to understand: with this software program, you can see all activity on your child’s cell phone.

Monitor Social Media
Often, children can post embarrassing photos or videos of each other online.  Some may be innocent enough, but as we all know, others can cause permanent damage to your child's self-esteem or reputation. Monitor their accounts like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat to see if this is happening to your child. Also, monitor comments and private messages on these applications. If you see hurtful or mean comments directed toward your child – address them with your son or daughter. You may find that they were jokes taken out of context, or you may find it's something deeper – your child is being bullied.

Text Messages
Bullying isn't limited to just social media. Check your teen's text messages to make sure they aren't on the receiving end of threatening, cruel or inappropriate text messages. If they are, finding the source will be a lot easier if you have the phone number from which the messages are coming from. Having the person's phone number is solid evidence of who the bully is in this situation – giving you evidence when you bring the issue to the attention of school officials or authorities.

Your child may be scared or embarrassed that they are the target of a ruthless bully. You may even discover more than 1 bully is harassing your child. It's pretty common for entire groups of children to gang up on other single kids. If you do, talk to your child and reassure them that there is nothing to be embarrassed about. You may want to ask them if this same kind of bullying is happening to their other friends and contact their parents. Share with them how you found out by using cell phone spy apps.

You may not be able to prevent your child's peers from sending messages, but you can, at least, play interference or catch them in the act – giving you the head's up to contact the right people to stop further bullying from happening. There are tons of evidence online that shows just how damaging cyberbullying can be. Hundreds of children have committed suicide because of the harsh words of their schoolmates and strangers. Use spy cell phone apps to stop this from happening to your child.  Select an app like Highster Mobile to monitor your child's phone calls, text messaging, social media and more – and keep your child safe.
