Fight Back Against Cyberbullying

Cyber-bullying is an epidemic. Thousands of children and teenagers are harassed and bullied by their peers through texting, emails, and social media. In far too many cases, many children and teenagers experience poor mental health and may even be driven to self-harm or suicide by a cyberbully. Don’t let someone torment your child. While the abuse may not be physical, cyber-bullying is just as dangerous, if not more so, than any other form of bullying. You might be thinking now, "is there a way to track someones text messages?" Here’s how you can put an end to cyber-bullying using advanced cellphone tracking technology.

Identifying the Signs
First, you’ll want to identify the signs of cyber-bullying before it’s too late. In general, many bullied teenagers and children may seem withdrawn and unusually depressed. They may claim that they have no real friends or seem very upset after using the Internet or texting their friends. Not every teenager or child wants to admit that they’re victims of cyber-bullying or may be afraid of repercussions if they come forward with the abuse. Many cyberbullies may threaten a child for reporting the bullying to their parents or authority figures, threatening that the child won’t have any friends, that the bullying will get worse, or they’ll target some of the child’s other friends and school mates for coming forward.

If you have reason to suspect your child is being bullied, be sure to reach out to your child as soon as you believe it’s the case. Your children should understand that if they’re in trouble they should be able to reach out to you for support and advice. Don’t blame them for the abuse or tell them to simply ignore it. You need to take action and learn how to track someone text messages and see what conversations they're having.

Cell Phone Tracking Technology and How It Can Help
If you suspect something’s going on and your child is not coming forward with what’s going on, consider installing cellphone tracking technology on their phone. This will help you determine what’s really happening.

Cell phone tracking services provide very important information. Namely, they’ll show what texts and calls have been sent to your child, even if the child deleted the texts or calls as they came. These services will also show what apps the child is using and their activity on them, allowing you to see if your child is being harassed through an app like SnapChat or Facebook Messenger.

Be sure to keep careful notes about suspicious activity or threatening messages your child may be receiving. Don’t let your child deal with these problems alone. You need to take action as soon as possible and use a software that allows you to track someone text messages free of any worry that they'll find out you're spying on them.

What to Do If It’s Really a Cyberbully
When you reach the heartbreaking conclusion that it may really be a cyberbully, it’s important to take action as soon as possible. The one thing you should never, ever do is directly contact your child’s bully. Often times, this can only make the bullying worse and you may be prosecuted for harassing a minor.

What you’ll want to do is contact your child’s school. Your child’s school will have the tools to handle cases of cyber-bullying. Don’t hesitate to contact the police either if the abuse is especially rampart or your child’s school won’t act fast enough. Cyber-bullying is often a felony. And no matter how young the cyberbully is, they may be prosecuted.

Continue providing comfort to your child. You may want to consider finding a therapist or counselor for your child to talk to, since the cyber-bullying may have left your child depressed and anxious. In many cases, a cyber-bullied child may have suicidal ideas and/or may be self-harming. Don’t hesitate to find them the help they need.

With the help of technology, you can help your child conquer cyberbullies and feel safe on the Internet.
